Kayo Fox 70cc No Low End Power
#11
These are mass produced and nothing is adjusted or tested at the factory or dealer so it is quite possible that the clutch was never adjusted from factory. Also did you drain and replace the oil it was shipped with and put in a oil that was wet clutch compatible? I have owned alot of import machines when my kid was small and have had the same issues, it was always the clutch was out of adjustment and previous owner did not know how to adjust... Takes about 2 min to adjust...

Bullnose screw can be twisted to increase power and more throttle

Bullnose screw on Kayo 70cc on back of throttle box, twist to add power
On the Kayo 70, behind the throttle is a stub nose screw. Get pliers and twist it coubterclockwise and it will unscrew giving the throttle more play and giving it a lot more power. It is sold ready for beginners and so it won’t have much low end power.

Kayo fox 70 no low end power
First be sure like everyone else is saying that the throttle is not limited still, there’s a small screw you can back out for more throttle, turn it in for less. My personal kayo fox 70 (2021) I adjusted the clutch on the right side of the motor with a 14 mm open end wrench and a flat head screw driver. Be sure to warm the bike up completely and that the quad is off during each adjustment. Loosen the nut on the right side of the s crank case that has the flat head screw in the middle of it while keeping the flat head screw driver pressed against it. Back it out half a turn and press the screwdriver inward toward the motor also backing the screw out….being sure it doesn’t turn and tighten the nut back up. Start it up, try it. If it’s there’s still no gain try another half turn. In the end I was almost 2 full turns. I cannot tell you how far you can turn it before it just completely comes unscrewed so do it at your own risk. Our quad takes right off now but you don’t want to over do it. If your quad is lurching forward while it’s idling there’s a good chance you need to loosen it up a little bit. Hope this helps anyone.
The nut is in the center of the photo, there is a flat head screw in the middle of it. The screw is actually what holds the nut against the case, not the other way around.
