Yamaha Badger (80 cc)-valve adjustment?
Hello everyone! I'm new here, so forgive me if I'm posting improperly!
My friend has a Yamaha Badger with an 80cc engine. It has become VERY hard to start when it is cold. Starts fine when warm or hot. I have read that the valves can come out of adjustment and make it difficult to start, however I have not seen any info regarding the valve adjustment procedure. Can anyone tell me, or post a link about, the way to go about adjusting the valves? I've never worked on an ATV, but have years of experience working with air-cooled engines, and I assume that they are relatively similar. If you think this is something best left to a dealer, please let me know because I don't want to tear up my friend's kid's toy!! Thanks in advance for any help!!!
