1994 Suzuki King Quad Front brakes HELP!
I have a 1994 Suzuki King Quad and I was told it needed a valve job but when I took it to a suzuki Dealer they told me that the piston was slapping against the jug and making the noises. So now what should I do? Have it fixed or just drive it til it quits? Then worry about it. Any HELP would be greatly appreciated....

1994 Suzuki King Quad Front brakes HELP!
How much time/miles you got on yout motor? Did you notice the noise got louder recently? Or did you always have the noise? There is some noise from these motors and it changes with temperature and oil viscosity. The part you have to watch for is excessive noise or a change to where it became noisy...

1994 Suzuki King Quad Front brakes HELP!
Well I got it back today from the Suzuki dealer and they said that it is the piston slapping the cylinder wall now. So I got it back and just decided to drive it for a while and make sure everything else is good before I stick alot more money in it.. I just purchased this atv a little while ago so I don`t know about any new noises or anything like that..

1994 Suzuki King Quad Front brakes HELP!
My Late cousin bought a 1993 Suzuki LT4WD 300 King Quad one week before the " Blizzard Of 1993 " this Quad was had the toughest machine in my opion that Suzuki ever built , it was the second new atv he ever bought the first was a 1989 Suzuki LT4WD 250 QuadRunner this thing was still runing when he sold it to his sister just before he bought the 1993 300 KQ ; the 1989 LT4WD 250 QuadRunner had over 5000 miles on it and was still runing strong when he sold it and i was the only one who did all the maintence on both of these Quads !
The only major repairs i did to these 2 quads was to rebuild the brakes and regular maintence , oil and oil filter changes and airfilter cleaning no valve adjustments , not even as much as a clutch adjustment on either of these machines !
And after he passed away in late '1999 i aqired the 1993 300 KQ and i kept it untill a week after i bought my first new Quad a 2006 Arctic Cat 400 Auto FIS with the Suzuki 376cc engine and Suzuki's Duramatic belt driven clutch tranny , it was my first belt drive quad ; and the main reasons i bought the Cat was the Dealer and the Suzuki powered engine/tranny system and i haven't regreted it one minute !
The 2 Suzuki LT4WD Quads were ridden hard but very well maintained by me , if the Quad you have are looks good even if they were abused but maintained i would fix it up ; at least ride it awhile and see how it does before you deside to keep it or sell it i would ride it awhile and then decide !
Best of luck with the Quad , and welcone to the forums !..........
