'76 Attex Superchief 500 6x6
I posted this in another forum, but I realized that it was the wrong one.
Hello everyone. I'm new to 6x6s and I have a few questions. First off, we're looking at getting a ATV for utility(and fun) use around our mountain property(dragging wood up hills, snow plowing, ect). I recently saw a local ATTEX for sale and have been looking into them. It's a 1976 ATTEX 500 SUPER CHIEF according to the description. While I'm gonna assume a 45Hp, 500CC engine would have no problems dragging wood does this info sound right? The description claims that it was rebuilt 4 years ago and that a Richard of Route 6x6 rebuilt the T-20 transmission. In short, I have no baseline to these things and I'm wondering if this ATV would perform the desired services. The description claims it's a 45Hp engine.
